A RECORD OF PARTICIPATION

My mission is to serve.

Volunteer work, civic appointments, nonprofit leadership, and consumer research have each given me a way to contribute.

Years of listening.
Ways of giving back.

These are the volunteer, public-service, nonprofit, and research experiences documented in my professional records. Research and professional roles are included alongside volunteer service because each informs my advocacy.

Nampa Mayor’s Teen Council

Volunteer and sub-committee chair. I helped plan committee activities, report youth perspectives, and participate in civic events, including seatbelt safety and teen driving activities, city commerce luncheons, and Special Olympics State/World Games.

Nampa Library Board youth liaison

Served a six-month term representing Teen Council comments and requests, attending monthly board meetings, and advising on library projects.

Idaho Parents Unlimited

Board member and youth director. I supported access to training and resources, participated in board meetings and fundraising events, and represented disabled young people at IPUL events.

Idaho Department of Commerce Video Game Focus Group

I was the only female among approximately 150 participants and was assigned the role of representing consumers. I brought the consumer’s perspective into a room of industry professionals.

iGameUSA founder and board president

Lead an educational nonprofit connecting gaming, education, inclusion, workforce development, and community engagement. Our mission: Extend Unity, Learn Perspective, Promote Inclusion.

Meridian mayoral campaign

Ran as a moderate to make a statement about unity and representation. I raised concerns about the internet infrastructure people needed to study and work from home.

Consumer insight through research

I have completed more than 40 studies through Interpret’s Good Gamer Group since 2019, contributing a consumer perspective to gaming research. I have signed numerous nondisclosure agreements through those studies. In 2021, I tested current-generation console gaming hardware for accessibility features. I keep confidential product and study details private. I have also participated in the AbleGamers Accessibility Community.

Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities

Served as a council member, representing the perspective of a person with developmental disabilities in policy discussions and advisory processes.

EsportsNext Rising Star Award

Recognized by the Esports Trade Association for my behind-the-scenes support for Idaho gamers.

Esports Research Network presenter

Presented my Co-Op case study at the international ERN conference, connecting nonprofit community development with esports research.

BattleSpace Idaho consulting support

Contributed research, proposals, stakeholder outreach, and conversations around technology, workforce development, and nonprofit cooperation. My current focus is shifting toward my own consulting and advocacy work.
